Amanda Hagerman
A former high school art teacher turned full-time artist and metalsmith, Amanda Hagerman exclusively creates each piece of jewelry in her Crofton, MD studio. The collection is individually handcrafted through either lost wax casting or hand fabrication. She only uses precious metals, gems, and minerals acquired through responsible and ethical practices. Her intent is that each piece displays the maker's mark and seamlessly relates visually to the elements that inspire her, while maintaining a chic and refined allure.

“Growing up surrounded by the mountainous landscapes of rural Pennsylvania, I have always been drawn to the rugged quality and deep rooted history that rocks, ridges, and ravines embody. Their vast irregularities in texture and pattern deeply influence the aesthetic of my work. When merging these elements together my jewelry takes on an ancient yet timeless tone. Rock like surfaces that mimic the uneven ridges of the landscape are applied to carefully composed geometric shapes creating fashion forward pieces that are fun and versatile to wear. Each piece in the collection is individually handcrafted in my studio through either lost wax casting or hand fabrication. I only use precious metals, gems, and minerals acquired through responsible and ethical practices. My intent is that each piece displays the maker’s mark and seamlessly relates visually to the elements that inspire me, while maintaining a chic and refined allure."
